Different Pressure Seal Forms Fold Types

Z-FOLD

A regular Z-Fold has 3 equal panels. The middle panel is completely secure, and sealed within the top and bottom panels. From the side the fold resembles the letter “Z”, thus giving the name Z-Fold.

ECCENTRIC Z-FOLD or EZ - FOLD

An Eccentric Z-Fold has equal top and middle panels, the bottom panel is shorter, which allows for more printing area than a regular Z-Fold. The side fold resembles an off-centered letter “Z”, thus giving it the name Eccentric Z-Fold.

C-FOLD

A C - Fold consists of 3 panels, depending on your design the panels can be the same or different sizes. With this fold configuration, a return envelope is easily incorporated. From the side the fold resembles the letter “C”, thus giving it the name C-Fold or Charlie-Fold.

DOUBLE PARALLEL

In double parallel folds, there are 4 panels. With this fold configuration, a return envelope or free insert is easily incorporated. The form is folded almost in half. Then folded in half again with a fold parallel to the first fold, thus giving the name Double Parallel.

DOUBLE POSTCARD

The form folds in half to seal, a two-up format for faster imaging. Split into two separated folded postcards for significant postage savings. The side of the fold resembles the letter “V”, so the double postcard is a V-Fold.

V-FOLD

The form folds in half to seal, allowing for almost a complete letter-size printing area. From the side the fold resembles the letter “V”, thus giving it the name V-Fold.
